Syphon filter is the best video game of all time.
The old atari games (pac man, pong, etc.) are fun.

The best in quality…Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. Has a good use of Pixel Shader (it only has for PC games, new ones) and it’s a mmorpg. I give it a 9.6/10

there are so many video games out there and not all video games appeal to everyone i could telll you some of my favorite games out there but they may not appeal to you. Like my favorite RTS is Army men RTS. it rocks or my favorite racing game is adventure beetle racing wich is old school like N64 old school. My favorite origanial shotter is Call of duty. My favortie shooter is halo 1 and 2. I could go on like this but i feel like i shouldn’t so i’ll stop and give you this to say you decide which is your top nothc video game or maybe or should put a specific gere of games.

Final Fantasy, The Legend of Zelda, Grand Theft Auto, Halo, Soul Calibur, Metal Gear Solid, Devil May Cry, Kingdom Hearts, Resident Evil, God of War. These are most of the blockbuster games of this generation that have all been praised by many to have top quality.
For Underrated Games that have Great quality Go for, Xenosaga, Okami, Virtua Fighter, Metroid Prime, Viewtiful Joe all come to mind.
If you own all or almost all of this list then you own the best of this generation.

Wow tuff question with really no answer but, let me help you decide. First off I hope you are referring to PC games….
The best games are developed around War and access of Wealth. These are what game developers key on and assure them to be winners.
Now as far as what is good and bad depends on your computer hardware you have. Many “newer” games will NOT run on older machines. Developers just cant deliver quality without great hardware/Operating systems.
But as a baseline, most game publishers will allow a certain evaluation of their games.. The higher the score the better the game. Look around and educate yourself on what type of game you may want to play and research it here.
And you may want to check out some demos before you throw down the cash.
Hope this helps and merry christmas
