Is it possible to be addicted to videogames without playing them all the time?

I play videogames no more than maybe an hour and a half per day, BUT i spend almost all of my time at work and while doing other things thinking about them. People around me say that my videogames are detracting from the rest of my life. Am i an addict? or is it just them?
